About our home visits

One of our probate administrators can visit you in the comfort of your own home to explain about the probate process face to face, and answer any questions you may have. We’ll go through the services that ITC offers and how we can help. You may also like to have a family member or friend with you at the meeting.

If you’re planning to arrange a home visit, it’s helpful to have the following documents to hand for the probate administrator:

  • The Will - if one exists, either the original or a copy
  • The deceased's birth, death and marriage certificates
  • Financial statements for the deceased, such as:
    • Bank and building society accounts
    • Share certificates
    • Savings certificates
    • Pension details
    • Property details
    • Any liabilities (debts) owed from the estate
